The Purist PX1 is the ultimate rod for deadbait fishing. These rods are available in two practical models, in lengths of 10 and 12 feet. Both rods have a large, deep bend, giving precision and casting power, and the whole is accentuated by a large, classic look, finished with a cork handle.

At the heart of the Purist PX1 Deadbait rod is a high-modulus, all-carbon blank designed to generate the power needed to beat the toughest fish. At the same time, thanks to its progressive action, the rod dampens sudden starts and aggressive "jerks" of the head, absolutely minimizing the risk of ripping the hook out of the fish's mouth.

Such a construction, armed with two-metre Shimano Hardlite guides, offers excellent casting characteristics with dead fish or classic bottom bait. Both models feature a classic cork handle and a specially designed ergonomic DPS-type reel handle. At the same time, the two-piece construction makes rod transport and storage extremely easy.
