Although designed for freshwater locations, it can also be used from harbours and rocky saltwater shores.If you fish using the Stellfisch method of static bait fishing for predators with heavy sinkers, the Catana Static Bait TE GT will certainly offer you all the power and length you need to fish effectively.With a powerful action and a casting capacity of up to 150g, the Catana makes the most of the high modulus carbon blank to offer a dream rod for the toughest situations. The Catana Static Bait TE GT can also be used in salt water when the current is strong.Catana Static Bait TE GT models are made from Full Carbon High Modulus blank which offer the casting power needed to cope with big sinkers when using fish baits. Available in 6.50 m and 7.50 m models, the Catana's extra length facilitates underarm and side casting and can be used to great advantage when presenting baits close to obstacles where predators may hide. Solid Seaguide stainless steel guides ensure that the rods can be used in salt water and a custom Shimano plate reel seat can accommodate larger reels if required.
