The AERO X3 range from SHIMANO sits perfectly in the middle of the Aero Competition range and offers a superb combination of high performance and versatility at an extremely competitive price.
AERO X3 rods guarantee high quality and offer excellent casting characteristics and a smooth, progressive action when retrieving fish.
AERO X3 rods are built on Full Carbon blanks and also benefit from Diaflash technology, a cross-linked carbon ribbon on the outer layer that reduces blank twist and increases response. All models feature a top-of-the-range Fuji DPS reel seat mounted on a cork/EVA handle that exudes quality. Seaguide XOG rings (excellent for use with braid) are perfectly fitted. All models come with three variable-power carbon tips.

This rod can be configured to 9 ft (2.74 m) or 11 ft (3.35 m) by replacing the centre piece above the handle.
Basically, you have two rods in one.
