With its size and weight (greater than other traditional trolling spoons), the Salty Diamond undulates irresistibly as soon as the boat slows down, with the waves or when turning. This special series was developed specifically for migratory salmon specimens in collaboration with Peter Cernold (Team 4Reels Sweden) and Mike Luner (Team Beluga Germany). When choosing the colors, these two specialists were inspired by the most effective Scandinavian and German (Rügen) colors. The hooks are fitted with a large single hook for a better catch, just like many professional salmon fishermen.
Following the great success of the launch of the Salty Diamond in size XL for salmon, we wanted to reuse the very effective colors for sea trout and cod. These fisheries often use slightly smaller lures, more in line with the size of the prey of these predators. This is the reason why we have sized the Saltys in size M while keeping a shape that is very attractive to fish.
