The Xitan Advance Z16L is the third generation of Browning Z12 and Z14 rods based on the unique "long element" design. The experience gained from developing the Sphere rod has enabled us to make the Z16L much lighter and stiffer than previous versions, without sacrificing the legendary power and reliability of Xitan rods. The Z16L is truly 16 meters long-no need for mini-extensions or topkits to reach its full length. Thanks to the Ergonomic Pole Protector, the rod is now 16.7m long, and can be extended beyond 18m with additional extensions. For limited-length competitions, the Z16L can be fitted with 13m extensions. It was designed to be a true all-rounder, but the Z16L is just perfect for competitions where you need to target carp or autres big fish thanks to its incredible power, total reliability, unique measurements and specific features. The Z16L includes the popular 1.90m single-strand kit which is very strong and stiff for a perfect glide of the bungee. However, we include a parallel extension to this kit to increase the length to 2.60m if necessary, which is the same length as the conventional SLK 2-piece kit. This gives a lot of flexibility when fishing at two different distances, in deep water or when fishing with different kits.
